The Stuffed Olive

The Stuffed Olive was originally founded in 2004 at the Blackhawk Hotel in Cedar Falls, Iowa. It began as a Martini Bar with a great menu featuring plenty of great concoctions to choose from. In 2005 tapas (small plates) was added to the menu and the martini menu continued to grow. The original Stuffed Olive enjoyed many good years at the Hotel but finally closed on January 1st, 2019 to make way for Hotel upgrades and renovations. It wasn’t long before we knew we had to get it reopened as soon as possible. After months of planning and renovations The Stuffed Olive re-opened in September of 2019 with a brand new tapas menu and a polished martini menu featuring all of our past favorites along with some new fare. Fast forward to today, now we are bringing The Stuffed Olive to Iowa City’s popular downtown Ped Mall. Now there is over 100 martinis to choose from and some of the best chef prepared food that Iowa City has to offer. The new Stuffed Olive is full of soft leather seating in a modern, luxurious, yet minimalistic atmosphere. We often hear from our guests that the Stuffed Olive is their favorite place. We think it just might be yours too. From the incredible food to perfectly selected background music and lighting, we think you’ll find Olive to be a very sexy and sophisticated atmosphere to socialize and make yourself at home with your favorite martini.
